the internet has arrived...

...to the new house.  Here are some of my favorite things that have happened over the past few weeks of internet silence:

•  We moved out of our first apartment and when you see the view I think you will understand why.  I will miss our huge bedroom, spacious kitchen and unique downtown location.  I will not miss the 3 flight climb, the scary parking lot, the wandering homeless men, or cleaning the tile shower.

• We can grill out and enjoy our new backyard filled with trees and grass. 

• I love our new curtains and my handmade bedside shelf (thanks Jordan!).  The curtains deserve a post of their own - I have an amazing and creative mother-in-law! 

• We have a new washer and dryer  It is a luxury to have my own little space to do laundry.
• I found out how delicious iced tea and salsa are together!  I'm loving the the view from our cozy kitchen.

• Last night we took a trip to Fresh Market and then grilled out in celebration of the end of Zach's busy season.  It was amazing - and I thoroughly support letting meat rest after taking it off the grill.

• Today is my first PTO day this school year and Zach took today off too.  We went out for coffee and breakfast at The Food Emporium, and I am now convinced that I am living in Stars Hollow.
