deck the halls

The weekend before Thanksgiving is always the time when I pull out the boxes of decorations, put our Christmas playlist on repeat, and decorate the house.  Every year, I put the little lights in my Grandma's ceramic tree and anticipate turning it on each night during the holidays.  I love hanging my Shiny Brite ornaments and stringing garland around the house.  It is exciting coming home ready for Christmas after spending Thanksgiving break at our parents' homes.
