This weekend I strategized for the food I was assigned to bring to our family parties. Living 2 hours away and staying with family can make cooking more challenging (I forget where everything is, and end up opening every cabinet), but I love being in the kitchen with my mom getting things ready. To start, I'm making Ina's
sausage stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, and then my mom is teaching me how to bake a
pumpkin roulade. I have been craving it for awhile. I'm so excited to see what everyone else is bringing - food is a big deal in my family!
