we bought a table

Over the weekend while shopping with my in-laws, we stumbled on an amazing deal on a dining table.  I thought this was going to be a ways down the road for us, but the price was just right and we even had some coupons from moving.  We've been wishing for a farmhouse table and my other requirement is that it must be  overly-sturdy.  The last thing I want to do is worry about the table every time we have people over.  This one was perfect.

So we were good on price and durability, but it was still a lot to process.  I know we are probably going overboard (traditionally we like to weigh all our options before deciding something), but I was totally thinking about how this is the table we'll be using for years - with kids, holidays, celebrations, big decisions.  I was freaking out a little bit by the adult-ness of it all!  We rigged up our Jeep with loads of cables and drove her home very slowly.  She looks so perfect, and I love the style in our house.  I am learning there are moments when it hits you as a couple that you are really building your life together, and for whatever reason buying a table provided one of those moments for us.
