A few summers ago, my dad bought a boat as a way to keep bringing our family together even after we started living in different places (college, marriage..).  I love his intentional thoughtfulness as the leader of our family to create bonds and memories that help us grow closer even when we are living further from each other.  For our family, that means lots of outdoor time - wakeboarding and skiing are our favorite hobbies.  Even though I am a girly-girl to the core, my brothers and husband have somehow ignited a bit of a sporty side in me.  I love them for that :)
