year-round dressing

I'll be using these pictures as inspiration for re-inventing some of my favorite summer dresses into more versatile pieces throughout the year.  I'm still digging the tights-and-boots look I used a lot last year, with heavy doses of comfy cardigans.  What pieces do you wear through all weather?
